1. What can be cancelled
Only the monthly membership is a recurring charge, so it's the only thing there is to cancel. The $39 Personalized Strategy Roadmap is a one-time purchase with permanent access — there's no subscription attached to it and nothing to cancel.
Membership billing is live. Vantivelo processes payments and recurring memberships through Stripe. The in-app cancellation controls described below are the live controls.
2. How to cancel
You can cancel your membership yourself at any time — you don't need to ask permission, justify it, or speak to anyone. There's no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
If you can't find the control or something isn't working, email support@vantivelo.com from the address on your account and we'll cancel it for you. Email is our support channel; we don't operate a phone line, and you'll never be routed through a retention call.
3. What happens when you cancel
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not cut you off immediately or take back the month you've already paid for.
- Your membership stays active at your paid tier until the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
- At the end of that period, the membership expires and no further charge is taken.
- Membership-only functionality — starting new Coach sessions, generating new Homework, and other membership features — ends when the paid period ends.
- Any unused Coach submission balance that has accrued or rolled over is forfeited when the membership expires. Balances don't survive the end of a membership.
- Your existing history stays readable in your account: your assessment reports, your Strategy Roadmaps, your past Coach conversations, your completed Homework, and your Progress Journey.
- Your purchased Strategy Roadmaps remain fully available. Membership is not required to keep them.
4. Your Strategy Roadmaps are unaffected
This is worth stating plainly, because subscription products often work the other way: cancelling a membership does not remove your Roadmap access. The Roadmap you bought is permanent. You can still view it, and you can still complete a new assessment and generate a Strategy Roadmap from that new report at no additional Roadmap charge, whether or not you hold a membership. See the Terms of Service.
5. Coming back
You can start a membership again at any time. Your reports, Roadmaps, history, and the context your Coach has built up are still there, so guidance picks up from where you left off rather than starting over. Submission balances, however, start fresh — forfeited balances are not restored.
6. Changing plans instead of cancelling
If the plan is the problem rather than the product, you can move between Growth, Momentum, and Transformation. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades are scheduled to take effect at the end of your current paid period, so you keep the tier you've paid for until then.
To be finalised. Whether mid-cycle plan changes are prorated, and how any credit is applied, depends on what the payment provider supports and has not been decided. No proration is promised here.
7. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we'll let you know so you can update your payment details. Membership functionality is suspended while a payment is outstanding, and an unresolved failed payment eventually ends the membership. Your history and your purchased Roadmaps are not affected by a failed payment.
To be finalised. The exact retry schedule, the length of any grace period before a membership ends, and the notification timeline depend on the payment provider's dunning behaviour and have not been set. No specific grace period is promised here.
8. Cancellation and refunds are different things
Cancelling prevents future charges. It is not a refund of a charge already taken. If you think a charge itself was wrong, see the Refund Policy.
9. Cancelling vs deleting your account
Cancelling ends a subscription but keeps your account and everything in it. If you want your data gone as well, that's a separate, permanent action — see Data Deletion & Privacy Rights. If you hold an active membership, cancel it before deleting your account so no further charge is attempted.
