1. You're in control of your data
Everything described here is something you can do yourself, from your account settings, without asking us. No support ticket, no waiting period, no retention conversation.
- Download a complete copy of your data.
- Pause personalization so your Coach stops storing new long-term notes about you.
- Clear the notes your Coach has already built up.
- Permanently delete your account and its contents.
2. Download your data
Go to Settings → Your data and choose to download your data. Vantivelo generates a machine-readable file containing the information held under your account, including your profile, assessment attempts, saved reports, Strategy Roadmaps and purchase records, membership status, Coach sessions and messages, the notes your Coach has stored, check-ins, growth arcs and events, Homework curricula, lessons and responses, practice trackers, progress snapshots, a record of your uploaded files, your notifications, and your preference settings.
The export covers only data belonging to your account. If any section can't be included, the file tells you which one rather than silently omitting it.
3. Pause or clear what your Coach remembers
Your Coach keeps structured notes about your patterns, goals, and preferences so guidance stays personal across sessions. You can manage that separately from your account:
- Pause personalization — your Coach answers from the current conversation only and stores nothing new about you.
- Clear stored notes — removes the long-term notes your Coach has built up.
Clearing those notes does not delete your account or your work. Your reports, Strategy Roadmaps, Homework, Progress Journey, past conversations, and uploads all stay where they are. Both controls live in Settings → Privacy.
4. Delete your account
Go to Settings → Delete your account, confirm by typing the confirmation phrase shown, and confirm the deletion. This is immediate and permanent — there is no undo and no recovery window, so download your data first if you want to keep it.
Deleting your account removes, from our live systems:
- your sign-in credentials and profile;
- your assessment attempts and saved reports;
- your Strategy Roadmaps and roadmap history;
- your Coach sessions, messages, stored notes, and check-ins;
- your Homework curricula, lessons, and responses;
- your progress snapshots, growth arcs, and practice trackers;
- your notifications and preference settings; and
- your uploaded files, which are queued for removal from storage.
If you hold an active membership, cancel it before deleting your account so no further charge is attempted — see the Cancellation Policy. Deleting your account also ends your access to any Strategy Roadmap you purchased, since the account holding it no longer exists.
5. What may remain after deletion, and why
We want to be straight with you rather than promise instant erasure everywhere. After your account is deleted:
- Uploaded files are queued for removal from storage and deleted as that queue processes, rather than in the same instant.
- Encrypted backups roll over on their own schedule, so residual copies can persist for a limited period before being overwritten.
- Limited records may be retained where we need them for security and fraud prevention, for financial, tax, and payment-reconciliation obligations, or to comply with the law.
- A minimal record that a deletion request was made and fulfilled is kept for accountability.
- Aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer be linked to you may remain.
Under review. The exact retention periods for post-deletion security, backup, and financial records are being finalised and will be stated here once confirmed.
6. If you never created an account
You can complete the free assessment and view your analysis without an account. In that case the link to your report is remembered by your own browser rather than tied to a login, so clearing your browser storage removes your access to it. If you'd like the underlying report deleted from our systems, email us and describe it so we can locate it.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over your personal information — such as access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawing consent. Vantivelo honours access, download, correction, and deletion requests for every customer regardless of location, and we don't discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.
Under review. Region-specific rights language (including EU/UK GDPR and US state privacy statutes), any appeal process, and authorised agent handling are being finalised with counsel and will be published here.
8. Making a privacy request
Most requests are faster to handle yourself in Settings. If you'd rather write to us, or you need something the app doesn't offer, email support@vantivelo.com from the address on your Vantivelo account and tell us what you'd like us to do.
We'll ask you to verify that the account is yours before acting on a request about it — that protection exists for your benefit. We respond as promptly as we reasonably can, and within any timeframe the law requires. Email is our only support channel; we don't operate a phone line or a physical support office.
